Village Core Roadway and Utilities Design Project

CobbFendley supported this $4.3 million design project aimed at improving the safety and condition of streets, drainage, and utilities within the village core area. Our teams conducted utility records research, providing the design engineer with a utility coordination contact list, and utility designation services, recording, marking, and surveying the horizontal location of existing tonable utilities using non-destructive surface geophysical techniques. Additionally, survey teams collected apparent right-of-way information for the project through plat and deed record research and field surveys of adjoining properties. Using information provided by the design engineer, CobbFendley also performed ten utility test holes where potential conflicts with the design existed, collecting precise horizontal and vertical location information of impacted utilities.
