CobbFendley has worked with the City of Denton both as a prime consultant and a subconsultant for various design engineers to provide right of way services for the City’s infrastructure improvement projects.
NW Booster Acquisition. CobbFendley is providing easement acquisition services for water and wastewater easements. This project consists of 6 parcel acquisitions.
Mayhill I35E Utility Easement Acquisitions. As a subconsultant to Kimley-Horn, the civil engineer for this project, CobbFendley is providing easement acquisition services for utility relocations along IH-35E at Mayhill. The purpose of this project is to relocate approximately 14,000 linear feet of water main, 1,500 linear feet of water line and 500 feet of gravity sewer line. These relocations were necessitated by the Mayhill Bridge and Frontage Road Expansion planned by TxDOT. All lines crossing IH-35E or Mayhill Road need to be relocated to new easements. Our team developed a cost estimate and is now negotiating on behalf of the City to acquire the 32 necessary easements for the relocation of City facilities. When performing acquisitions under TxDOT oversight, the team must maintain proper documentation to allow for timely reimbursement to the City. Further, there are strict time constraints for when City facilities need to be moved so that the TxDOT roadway expansion can occur on schedule.
IH 35 Utility Relocation At Milam Road. This project has the same scope of work as the Mayhill IH 35E project listed above, but it is inclusive of 55 parcels.
