CobbFendley provided design for pedestrian and mobility improvements along Sanguinet Street and Donnelly Avenue in Fort Worth. The project included design of more than 8,000 LF of sidewalk and curb ramps and involved coordination with TxDOT, franchise utility companies, private landowners, and neighborhood association. The CobbFendley team designed sidewalk, curb ramps, crosswalks, Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) facilities, and other pedestrian elements to comply with the latest ADA standards. The sidewalk for the neighborhood was funded to just be on one side of the street. The team determined the conceptual alignment first and then surveyed half of the ROW to reduce survey costs, thus keeping the project on budget.
