CobbFendley is performing permitting and power utility pole survey services for PogoZone on coordination with WSDOT, BNSF, National Joint Utilities Notification system (NJUNS), and jurisdictional permitting. CobbFendley is providing pole inventory and aerial design for Phases 1 and 3. A PSE utility pole loading study and analysis will also be performed. CobbFendley has worked on two projects so far under this contract including:

Northwood-Siper Road/Highway 9 (SR9)/WSDOT

CobbFendley provided permitting and a utility pole study services for PogoZone. Our services included submitting an 811 One Call design ticket for the entire project limits, researching the utility facilities in the permit area, preparing utility maps and CAD drawings, preparing WSDOT and BNSF permits as well as the aerial pole crossing application per jurisdictional and permit application requirements. We also provided pole attachment data and pictures for permitting. The scope included conducting records research and a high-level aerial design, pole inventory, calibrating collected pole data, design aerial make-ready and develop CAD exhibits for permitting, and preparing and submitting permit applications for WSDOT, BNSF, and NJUNs.

Mount Baker Highway Transmission Poles/Permits/Pole Route Feasibility Study

CobbFendley conducted an observational study for this project. We drove the route and performed a photo inspection for the poles along the route. CobbFendley prepared a report outlining the pole conditions and noted any poles that may need to be replaced by the pole owner. The report was submitted to PogoZone which was then submitted to the Port for review and approval for future work within this corridor. The scope included conducting records research and a high-level aerial design, pole inventory, calibrating collected pole data, design aerial make-ready and develop CAD exhibits for permitting, and preparing and submitting permit applications for WSDOT, BNSF, and NJUNs.
