Status

This multi-family residential project required complete site development including drainage, transportation access from a principal arterial, water, and sewer system design to support a 126-unit development. The surrounding properties are completely developed and integration into the existing utility and transportation network required careful evaluation of all existing utility infrastructure. The site required two 8-inch water line extensions, connection of an 8-inch line into the existing sanitary sewer network, and avoidance of other utilities around the perimeter of the project site. Numerous water services are needed to connect the residential units, development clubhouse, and swimming pool facilities to the utility network. The design complied with all City of Rio Rancho utility system requirements including fire flow. Detailed coordination with Public Service Company of New Mexico was needed to extend electrical service to this currently unserved 10-acre property.
