Broadway Road Improvements Phase I

This project was the first of seven phased improvements to the Broadway Road Corridor, which created an improved multi-modal streetscape to accommodate vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, and transit on one of the City’s busiest thoroughfares. As part of the design engineering team, CobbFendley provided SUE services for this project, which included field markings and quality control review for approximately two miles of Quality Level B utility work on Broadway Road from Mesa Drive to 1,500 feet east of Stapley Road, and on Stapley Road from 500 feet north of Broadway Road to 8th Avenue. This effort involved electronically locating approximately 100,000 linear feet of underground utilities in and around the project corridor. CobbFendley was responsible for test hole layout, traffic control plans, crew dispatch and productivity, schedule compliance, troubleshooting, and permitting.
