This project includes the reconfiguration of a 1-mile portion of Rojas Drive from Joe Battle Boulevard to Bill Burnett Drive. This project consists of widening the existing Rojas Dr. facility to a 6-lane divided facility, bike lanes as per bike plan, pavement, illumination, signal improvements, safety appurtenances, drainage, and landscaping. As part of the team completing the design of the roadway improvements, CobbFendley provided SUE quality levels B and A utility designation and locating services to identify utilities within the project corridor, ultimately designating approximately 5,200 linear feet of utilities and completing 32 test holes to determine the horizontal and vertical position of subsurface utilities at locations provided by the design engineer.
