Standridge at Memorial Drive Intersection Improvements

CobbFendley provided engineering services for this intersection improvements project, which  included a traffic signal warrant analysis, followed by the complete signalization design of the intersection of Standridge Drive and Memorial Drive in The Colony, Texas. Our tasks for the warrant analysis included performing a site visit to observe traffic, traffic data collection, determining morning, noon, and afternoon peak hour, four-hour peak, and eight-hour peak, and performing a traffic signal warrant analysis based on the guidelines from the TMUTCD. Comprehensive services for the design project included performing a traffic analysis to determine if the existing geometric layout warrants additional capacity, topographic survey, right-of-way determination, subsurface utility engineering, utility coordination, traffic signal layout, timing plans, bid documentation preparation, and construction administration.
