CobbFendley designed an emergency replacement of 300 linear feet of a four-inch sewer service line to reconnect three existing buildings at Laguna Pueblo to sanitary sewer main line. The work was performed for Laguna Public Works Department. Utility systems are managed and operated by the Laguna Utility Authority who were not included by Public Works as part of the original design program. The final 90% complete design review by Utility Authority required complete reconfiguration of the layout and alignment of the proposed replacement sewer line. CobbFendley verified with the client that the appropriate personnel and departments were a part of the design review process to provide efficient design process at the outset.
