Working under an IDIQ contract, CobbFendley provided SUE, utility coordination, and utility engineering services along a 4.5-mile portion of Loop 375 in El Paso, Texas from Montana Avenue (US-62/180) to Spur 601. Our scope of work included investigating and verifying ownership, size, construction method, depth, location, number of lines, and other details of conflicting or non-compliant utility facilities; preparation of a utility design plan and conflict matrix; preparation and review of utility agreements; reviewing relocation plans for constructability; coordinating utility relocation construction schedules; and preparation of the PS&E package for water relocation for El Paso Water which included the design of a 48-inch transmission water line, realignment of a bored 18-inch HDPE reverse osmosis system concentrate line, and coordination with numerous gas and electrical transmission facilities.
