Bridgewood Drive Pedestrian Improvements

CobbFendley provided design for pedestrian and mobility improvements along Bridgewood Drive and Bridge Street. This project included design of more than 2,000 linear feet of sidewalk and curb ramps and involved coordination with TxDOT, franchise utility companies, private landowners, and neighborhood association. The CobbFendley team designed sidewalk, curb ramps, crosswalks, Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) facilities, and other pedestrian elements to comply with the latest ADA standards. The team was able to preserve the budget to focus on areas in need of new sidewalks, and also compressed the project schedule by 40% to meet the City’s desired construction start date.
