Empowering Education: School Supplies Success
This summer CobbFendley continued our annual tradition of hosting school supplies drives across multiple office locations, furthering our commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work. Thanks to the generosity of our staff, we were able to equip students and teachers with essential tools for learning. By investing in education, we aim to empower future generations and foster a positive impact that extends beyond the classroom.
Central Texas
Our Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio offices joined together to donate supplies to Ortega Elementary School. These donations included more than 35 backpacks and other essential items.
Conroe, Texas
Our Conroe Office sponsored a local teacher at Caney Creek High School. We were able to donate about $400 worth of supplies for both her class and the English Department.
Frisco, Texas
CobbFendley’s Friso office donated to the Back2School Fun Fair. This program provides kids in our community with a great back to school start with supplies like backpacks, personal hygiene items, clothes, and shoes.
Houston, Texas
The CobbFendley Houston office donated more than 40 backpacks and hundreds of other items to BEAR, a local501(c)(3) organization partnering with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and Harris County Resources for Children and Adults.
McAllen, Texas
Our McAllen Office gathered shoes and socks at Pittman Elementary School in Raymondville. Staff from the school indicated that was their biggest need for the year and that’s what we got them.
Investing in STEM from Classrooms to Careers
In addition to the support we provide with school supplies, CobbFendley is dedicated to promoting the importance of STEM education at all grade levels. From 7th grade youth career fairs to mentoring middle and high school students, CobbFendley is focused on the impact we can make in our communities by encouraging and investing in tomorrow’s leaders in engineering and business.
As our charitable initiatives grow each year, CobbFendley remains dedicated to making a lasting, positive impact through our firm’s “CobbFendley Cares” initiative. CobbFendley Cares challenges every employee to commit to growing our communities through STEM education, hunger relief, and sustainable solutions. These committees work to provide volunteer, educational, and donation opportunities to our employees and the firm. We have given back with hosting food bank drives, including Canstruction in Frisco and Houston, Texas, implementing recycling initiatives, and providing STEM mentorship and education to local schools.
