Can you share a bit about your journey at CobbFendley and how you’ve grown in your career?
I joined CobbFendley in 2018 as an Administrative Assistant in the Right-of-Way Department. In 2019, I moved into a Right-of-Way Agent role, which gave me the chance to take on more responsibility and grow my skill set. In March 2024, I stepped into the Right-of-Way Deputy Project Manager role and continue to learn and grow with each project.
How has CobbFendley supported your professional growth and development?
CobbFendley has supported my professional growth by actively encouraging involvement in professional associations and the pursuit of credentials. Leadership is very supportive of continuing education and professional development, which has helped me grow in my career.
Outside of work, what are some of your favorite ways to recharge and find inspiration?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two young daughters, and our soon-to-be son. Family time helps me unwind, and I also enjoy being outdoors—boating, fishing, and hunting whenever I can.
Introducing Our New Associates
CobbFendley’s Associates are those individuals who clearly exhibit the responsibility and capability of assisting their peers and management with the successful performance and completion of projects or other assignments as delegated to them. The Associate is identified by the management team as someone who has the potential to perform at a higher level by participating in a prescribed training program and assisting with other company duties as assigned by management.

Can you share a bit about your journey at CobbFendley and how you’ve grown in your career?
CobbFendley provides many opportunities for those who are committed to growth. I am fortunate to have had great supervisors who are also my mentors. I wouldn’t be the leader I am today without the support of my team.
Outside of work, what are some of your favorite ways to recharge and find inspiration?
I love spending time with my nieces and nephews and sharing stories about my work as an engineer. They inspire me to be my best, and I hope I can encourage them to pursue their own passions someday—maybe even a career in STEM.

What do you enjoy most about working at CobbFendley?
I enjoy that I get to work on a lot of interesting projects in an environment that pushes me to excel. I especially enjoy working with peers that are great at their job because it pushes me to emulate their mindset and success.
How has CobbFendley supported your professional growth and development?
In my time here, CobbFendley has given me numerous opportunities to better myself and help those around me. It has always felt like a culture of “how can we get you better” rather than “the status quo is preferable”.
