South Houghton Road Widening

The Pima County Department of Transportation widened approximately 3 miles of Houghton Road, from the Interstate 10 Interchange south to Andrada Polytechnic and Pantano High Schools.
The project reconstructed the previous 2-lane roadway to a divided 4-lane section with 2 travel lanes in each directions, a separated multi-use path that connects to The Loop, and drainage improvements.
As a subcontractor to Borderland Construction, CobbFendley’s Arizona SUE team provided Quality Level-A services for this project, completing 39 test holes on both public and private underground utilities in conflict with the project.
