JP Shawver Park Handball Court

CobbFendley was tasked by the City of El Paso to perform professional engineering services for the improvements of JP Shawver Handball Court Park. Key items as identified in the city description of work included a three-wall handball court system to include clearing, grubbing, grading, slab with footings, and vertical walls with footing. The design also included new ADA compliant concrete sidewalk, irrigation modifications, two new solar lights for the handball court, and soils investigation. Design analysis was performed during the design period. A topographic and improvements survey, environmental study, and SWPPP were also performed under the task. Technical specifications and an Opinion of Probable Construction Cost were performed before construction.
