CobbFendley served as the civil engineer in support of master planning of Eagle Nest Lake State Park in Colfax County, New Mexico. New Mexico State Parks required planning services to realize their vision of expanding and improving the campground and related facilities within the park. The project included engineering analysis and conceptual design of water and sanitary sewer improvements specifically for construction of a new comfort station. This included evaluation of the existing well supply and equipment needed to support the new facility. CobbFendley also performed conceptual grading to improve access and drainage within the 20-unit campground. An additional campground supporting 20 new RV spaces was also evaluated and located at an appropriate location to provide access and prevent flooding due to rainfall events.
