Shadow Creek Ranch
CobbFendley provided design and construction of a new 65-acre sports complex in Pearland, Texas that includes seven baseball/softball fields, a soccer field, a pavilion with concession stand and restrooms, concrete parking lots, and a detention pond.
The Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch opened in April 2017. The $10.1 million facility includes amenities such as lighted softball/baseball fields, turf field, volleyball courts, a playground paved walking paths, covered pavilion, concessions, amphitheater, concrete parking lots and a detention pond. The 65-acre park provides an opportunity for Pearland to host regional, statewide, and national athletic contests and tournaments for a variety of sports. It also has the capacity to host multiple tournaments/events simultaneously. It is the first of its kind for the City of Pearland and Parks & Recreation Department as an athletic provider.
CobbFendley, as the prime consultant, provided project management, civil engineering services to include coordination with County, State, and Federal stakeholders; develop a schematic and final design to include utilities, drainage, and traffic; prepare site plans, paving layouts, grading and drainage plans, underground utilities plan, conditions drainage analysis, stormwater detention pond design and conduct a Traffic Impact Analysis. In addition, CobbFendley provided construction documents and construction administration services.
