Pole Loading Analysis

CobbFendley was selected by AT&T Communications to perform pole loading analysis and pole attachment application submission to CPS Energy for over 3,000 attachment points throughout the City of San Antonio and the surrounding area. CobbFendley is an approved vendor with CPS Energy for both Pole Loading Analysis and Make Ready Engineering presenting AT&T with a multi-solutions team.

This involved field data collection of information such as pole height, type, insulator type, wire size, wire directional bearing, and GPS coordinates of all poles and anchors with the ikeGPS 4 by our survey department. The data was then imported into O-Calc Pro for detailed structural analysis. Pole applications were populated and submitted with the required information to the CPS Energy Pole Attachment department for verification and approval.
