CobbFendley led the Utility Design, Utility Coordination and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) efforts for the LBJ Managed Lanes project, which was implemented to relieve severe congestion on 13.3 miles of IH 635 (LBJ) from just west of IH 35E to just east of US 75.
CobbFendley was selected by AT&T Communications to perform pole loading analysis and pole attachment application submission to CPS Energy for over 3,000 attachment points throughout the City of San Antonio and the surrounding area.
Using ArcGIS Online and Collector for ArcGIS, CobbFendley built a mobile cloud pole collection application for the telecommunications field crew. As part of AT&T’s joint use pole agreement with El Paso Electric (EPE), telecommunications crew members were deployed to collect pole information across 13 El Paso AT&T wire centers.
