Southwest Transmission Project

The proposed Southwest Transmission Project spans 515 miles across New Mexico and Arizona, and will deliver wind energy generated in New Mexico to population centers in Arizona and California. Once completed, two 500 kV transmission lines will provide 3,000 MW of transfer capacity to western markets.
