Line DT3 Replacement
The Line DT3 Replacement Project was an integrity related construction project to replace a pipeline segment code named DT3. CobbFendley was retained to perform engineering, design and construction management for the replacement of a 24-inch natural gas pipeline with associated facilities as part of client’s gas transmission pipeline integrity management program. The 24-inch pipeline replacement extended over two miles and included a side tap to an existing station to reinforce its natural gas distribution system. The projects had an accelerated schedule to improve gas delivery capacity of Line DT3 due to anticipated system load growth. In addition to providing an array of pre-engineering service, CobbFendley managed the design phase of the project, including development of construction drawings, and permit exhibits. CobbFendley oversaw the development of GIS mapping and environmental considerations, as well as property surveys, and easement record plats. CobbFendley also completed the final design, participated in the pre-bid and completed the as-built survey and record drawings.
