Drainage, Erosion Control, and Bridge Rehabilitation Projects
CobbFendley has worked with the City of Grand Prairie for over eight years on drainage, erosion control, and bridge rehabilitation projects. The projects include preparing studies and recommendations, plans, specifications, bid phase services, and construction phase services for channel erosion under bridges, concrete rip rap separation / failure, concrete channel wall failure, and erosion control in open channels. These projects are often in association with the replacement of guardrail, approach slabs, and pavement surface rehabilitation on bridges. The projects include Jefferson Road Bridge (#2 and #3) Over Mountain Creek Tributary Rehab, Roy Orr Bridge Over the Trinity River, Forum Channel Repair, Trinity River Bank Stabilization Study, Landfill Levee Stabilization, Maribelle Bridge and Channel Rehabilitation, South Carrier Parkway Culvert Repair and Erosion Control, 4th Street Channel Failure (Emergency Contract), Fish Creek Bridge and Channel Rehabilitation (2 bridges / locations), Vineyard Street Open Channel Cleaning, and others.
