Chris Ernst, P.E. joins CobbFendley’s North Texas Team as Subsurface Utility Engineering Senior Project Manager.
Chris brings 16 years of engineering experience to CobbFendley, including knowledge in roadway and drainage design, schematic design, PS&E, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, storm sewer and culverts, complex traffic control, toll gantry conversion, bridge replacements, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), utility coordination, and utility conflict analysis and engineering. Chris has managed and successfully delivered a vast array of projects, including municipal arterials, farm to market, state and national highways, interstate, tollway, and design-build, as well as site-specific SUE projects. He is also an advanced user of Geopak Road, Geopak Drainage and Microstation. Throughout his career, he has worked with multiple municipalities and counties across Texas and agencies such as the Texas Department of Transportation, North Texas Tollway Authority, Oncor Electric, Atmos Energy, Denton Municipal Electric, and various school districts. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Texas Chapter of the Utility Engineering and Survey Institute through ASCE.
